You mean how to make someone moderator without him showing up in moderator colours?

If so, that's not possible.

I am not sure if that is what you want, but you can change the color in which moderators' names appear at the bottom of the forum.
First go to Admin Panel -> Styles Admin -> Managment
Than click edit next the style whose colors you want to change.
Than scroll down to where it says Font Colour 2 and change it to the color used by ordinary members. This color is usually black. Once you've done this all moderators will appear in the same color as the other members. This will change the color of all moderators on your forum without any exeptions.
