hello everyone, i hope this is the right place to post my small problem with putting images to my forum...

my problem is that.. when i post a picture in my forum i want to show the picture in thumbnail and for seeing it in bigger to click on it...

I want something like this:

Only registered users can see links on this forum!
Register or Login on forum!

but it shows me this: [url=http://upload2.postimage.org/426829/photo_hosting.html][url]

Does anyone knows how to fix this ?

*Also BBCode is active in my profile and when i do a new post*

My forumup is in my signature...

Thanks... Very Happy

ioanna, the thumbnail should come up by itself -- automatically -- when you use Upload image to post, like in your first example.

Do you mean that the Upload image to post feature automatically puts an [url] tag at the end, instead of the end tag [/url] ?!

If that is the case, then there must be a bug somewhere...

You can easily correct it by changing the last tag, from [url] to [/url] , before you click Submit.

But it is not supposed to be like that, of course.

If you mean something else, please explain again...

Ioanna, it is the AdInfinitum template that creates the problem.

I registered on your forum and posted a picture, in the Help forum. Then I realized that you have the Configuration set to override user style, so I checked on my test forum, and I get the same problem there, on AdInfinitum, but it works perfectly with subSilver and a couple of other templates I tested.

My suggestion is that you change the template.

But there is a way around the problem, if you really want to use the AdInfinitum template:

The code from the Upload image to post looks like this:

Code:
 [url=http://upload2.postimage.org/435818/photo_hosting.html][img]http://upload2.postimage.org/435818/mona_lisa.jpg[/img][/url]

Add space before [img] and after [/img] like this:

Code:
[url=http://upload2.postimage.org/435818/photo_hosting.html] [img]http://upload2.postimage.org/435818/mona_lisa.jpg[/img] [/url]

And it works!

You can see it with pictures in my post on your forum.

Are you using the URL tags instead of the [img] tags?
