To get to the Admin panel: delete all your temporary internet files, and cookies, and then try to use this link.
Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! |
...or this one (yes, there are two // between com and login!):
Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! |
In both cases you will have to log in twice, as usual, and then you should end up in the Admin panel.
--------
To delete the cookies may also solve the "invalid session" problem.
If not, create another account, set the permissions to Moderator, and see if you encounter the same problem.
Both problems may also be the result of something that's "got stuck" and needs to time out, in which case you should stay logged out for some 6 hours, to allow everything to reset itself. But try the above first...

You need to check the security settings of your browser. Be sure it is not set to higher than "medium". If it is set higher, then many cookies from websites get blocked. If that happens, you can't stay logged in. _________________ Margaret /gg'ssimon~ForumUp World-Wide Administrator

Check the "privacy" setting in regards to how your browser will handle cookies. Make sure that is not set higher than medium.
Check any spyware or virus/malware programs you have. They may have made an auto update that you didn't know about that made some changes. _________________ Margaret /gg'ssimon~ForumUp World-Wide Administrator

Kozataxakep, the good news is that there is nothing wrong with your forum. I can log on to the admin panel and stay there, and I can post messages, without problem.
The less good news is that Margaret seems to be on the right track. It is most probably some setting on your computer -- or in its connection -- that has changed, or gone astray...
The only thing left, in connection to the forum that I can imagine as a source to the problem, is if you use the "remember me on this computer" feature, in the log in. If so, try to change it -- disable it -- when you log on, and then delete all cookies and stuff, before you log in again.

There are two different settings for browsers:
1) Security
2) Privacy
On Internet Explorer, go to the IE menu bar Tools>Internet Options.
First click on the "Security" tab and check the settings.
Next click on the "Privacy" tab and check those setting. The "Privacy" setting controls cookies. Make sure it is set on "medium" or lower.

That is not what I meant. If you have a Virus and Malware detection program, sometimes they have settings to automatically block cookies, even if you set your browser to allow them.
What browser are you using?
What Virus and malware detection programs are you using? _________________ Margaret /gg'ssimon~ForumUp World-Wide Administrator
