.ORG Problems Update 2 Thu Oct 11
A new Automatic Fix for Debug Modes has been installed on .ORG

All remaining, reported forums that we had access to have been fixed, while testing the Auto-Fix. List of forums here:

If there still are forums "out there" with Debug Modes on .ORG, then the Auto-Fix should handle the problems, from now on.
Once again, thankyou for your cooperation and patience through this.
.ORG Problems Update Thu Oct 11
The Debug Mode issues are resolved now, as far as we can determine. What remains to attend to are forums that were affected at the same time as the others, but not reported until Oct 10, or later.
A couple of forums are also waiting for their second "fix", to get going properly. It's sometimes like push starting an old car in cold weather...
Your forums will be attended to, as soon as possible.
Thankyou for your patience.
.ORG Problems Update Wed Oct 10
Another round of "fixes" to the still affected forums have been made, and a vast majority seem to work now, as far as I can test them.
You will find the result of the "fixes" and tests here:

Please double check that everything is back in order on your forums.
Thanks for your patience and cooperation through all this.
.ORG Problems Update 2 Tuesday Oct 9
It has proved that many forums with Debug Mode problems need two, and perhaps even three, "fixes" to get up to speed.
The Webmaster made one successful round of "second fixes" earlier today, and will continue down the list as soon as possible.
To speed things up a little, I have registered on some forums, to test them after the "fixes", and I will continue to do so, when needed.
I would be greatful if you leave my Testing topics and replies where I posted them, until we are through with all this. It saves me from getting tested and not tested forums mixed up.
Some forums that have got at least one fix do in fact work, even if you get the Debug Mode when you post. Try the manual Resync described further down, and the new, missing posts may show up.
Last, but not least: Thankyou for your patience and cooperation!
.ORG Problems Update Tuesday Oct 9
All reported forums with Critical Error and Debug Mode problems should now be fixed (but see above).
If more recent posts and members are missing, it may be because of this:
Raulken wrote:
is a crash HD of some forum and I recover from backup...
In other words, the content of some forums "disappeared", and Raulken used the latest available backup to restore them.
Crashes like this are very rare, but they do nevertheless happen, despite all measures taken to prevent them from doing so.
On some other forums the missing messages may still come "seeping through", once the server has refreshed and "settled" properly.
Similarly, if you still encounter Debug Modes, they may go away by themselves now, "in due time". But don't count on it.
There is no way for the Staff, or even for Raulken, to see "from the outside" if your forum is working properly now. We have to count on you to test things and report back, so...
Please report remaining as well as new .ORG problems in this thread:

And please include all details, even if you report an "old" problem anew.
Feel free to report that your forum is working as it should now, as well...
End of Update Tuesday Oct 9
.ORG Problems Update Sunday Oct 7
There is unfortunately no real progress to report, but at least one forum with a Critical Error is back online, which hopefully is a sign that we are headed in the right direction.
An attempt last night to fix some Debug Modes with a special Tool managed to fix a couple of forums, while four other forums ended up with a Critical Error. This suggests that it may be better to wait with the Debug Modes, until the bigger problem is solved.
Some forums have recieved a warning email, about the forum being blocked in 10 days. But there is nothing at this point to suggest that the problem shouldn't be fixed by then.
So, please continue to be patient. And please report any and all changes you notice, about your forum's status.
So far the update, but if you have Debug Modes, continue to read.
............................
The .org server has been down for a while, and some forums had Debug Mode problems already before that.
Some of the Debug Modes may very well be the server that needs to update and resync properly, and then "settle". With the slightest of luck, it will get better and better, and the Debug Mode could even vanish completely, when everything is up to speed again.
There are actually tools that you can use in the Admin Panel for things like this.
It will probably not work on all forums, and/or on all of your problems. But it is well worth a try.
In Forum Admin >> Management on the far right, you will find the link Resync, on each forum.
Click that link, on each and every forum (or at least on every forum with new posts that won't appear), and see if it makes a difference; if not instantly, so "in the long run".
Similarly, for the members postcounts and such:
Go to User Admin >> Resync User Admin and you will find two options:
Resync User, where you can enter a member's username, and click Resync, to update the post total of that account.
Resync All Users where you click Resync, to update the post count for all members.
To Resync the users can in some cases also help you retrieve (new) missing posts.
This could speed up the process, a little or a lot, depending on what the server is up to.
Last but not least. We fully understand that this is annoying, but it is apparently a problem that has proved to be more complicated than what it seemed to be at first, and elusive on top of that...
If you have Debug Modes, or any kind of posting/editing etc. problems on .ORG, please report them in this thread:
