so some people can change there rank name??

I am not sure what you mean exactly. If you are asking about setting different ranks for users, it is possible. Go to the Admin Panel -> Users -> Ranks, create the new rank and make it to be a special one. Than go to management of users, type in the user's name and find the special admin only fields. There is one for ranks - chose the rank you have created from there.

Members can't make changes to rank names. Only the admin of the forum can chose and set rank names.
