Thanks. If you go to Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! | they offer TONS of cursors you may put on your forum. You will only see the cursor, though on the main page if you are using Internet Explorer.
Good luck! _________________ Nicole

I'm somewhat curious about this as well. Do you have to have only 1 style template?? And where do you inject the code for new cursors? The closest thing I could really find (and is a guess) is to paste cursor code into the box for a custom logo, but is this correct? and if so will this work across multiple visual styles? I noticed that you can't change the logo for all your installed styles this way. And if I"m way off please point me in the right direction ^^ THX!!

Put the code into on of the descriptions of a forum. But the only time a person will see the cursor is on the main page and using Internet Explorer. _________________ Nicole

Naax, you should put the code in the Footer. Then it works on all pages of the forum, and it works with IE as well as with the latest Firefox (provided that the HTML code is up to date as well).
It will also work if you have multiple templates to choose from.
You can check it out on my testforum, here:

It was not so long ago that the Footer was made available to all users (and not only to forums paying for No Ads), and up to then the only option was to put the code in a forum description, as Nicole said.
This is what you need to do:
Copy the code for the cursor you want to use.
Go to:
Admin Panel >> General Admin >> ForumUp
On that page you will find: HTML codes on top and bottom of all forum pages
Paste the code into the field called Code at the bottom of the forum, after all topics.
Be very careful to copy and paste the complete code. Double check that the closing tags, like </style>, are there, before you click Edit allow HTML. A missing > can make a mess of your forum.
Click Edit allow HTML
The new cursor should now show up on all pages of your forum, though it will take a split second to load, during which time you are likely to see the ordinary cursor.
------------
Cursormania seem to offer the download version only, at the moment (or their site was playing tricks with me), but there are loads of cursors, with demos and up to date HTML, to choose from if you go to:

Naax, the image in your signature is too big. Please resize it or remove it completely. You can read the rules about avatars and signatures here: Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! |
