my forum our refuge is still not working properly, keep getting shut out and trying to post anything is nearly impossible have to try about 4 times before it is accepted then am kicked of hope the problem gets sorted soon as i am getting some very disgruntled members now

I have now tried to post a message on it and it won't let me, someone was also trying to register and has now given up and said they won't bother again, so now i am losing members and potential members so am getting really fed up now

Irene, it is the server that has gone glitchy again, today. I noticed a few glitches this morning (CET) already. Then it seemed to be up to speed again, and I didn't think more of it until I saw your message.

I registered on your forum now, and got my activation email as fast as I could open my inbox.

Then it took me two attempts to post a new topic, and three attempts to reply to it, with "page cannot be found" inbetween. But I was still logged on through it all.

I had the .se support forum, and one more forum open at the same time, and clicked them in paralell, and they responded as slow, or as fast, as your forum. And the "unison" glitches continue as I write this. Which confirms that it is the server.

For me it has worked as it should for a couple of days, with no glitches what so ever, up until now, that is.

It would be good to know if you and your members have experienced the same, or if you have had more problems, also from Dec 31 through to Jan 2.

thanks foxleonard, we were working fine from 31st december until yesterday then this morning we experienced problems again, i have managed to smooth the ruffled feathers and have explained to the person trying to register and she too has calmed down i have told her that i will register her myself and see if that works for her.

I have continued to click around on your forum, and two more, and I've managed to post three posts with no glitches at all on your forum now. It seems that the server is (coming) up to speed again.

It is still too early to say anything for sure, but this could actually have been "normal" glitches. The kind that show up and go away once in a while, and that we, as users, usually pay little or no attention to -- until there has been a problem, that has made us precautious.

Let's knock on wood with crossed fingers...
