I was wondering how you do this on your forumup forum.

You can do this with below example code.

Code:
document.write('<center><div style="position: relative; top:26px;"><a href="http://staff.forumup.com/viewtopic.php?t=4669&mforum=staff" class="mainmenu"><img src="http://img234.imageshack.us/img234/7047/homeap1.gif" alt="" title="TOS" border="0" height="13" hspace="3" width="12"> TOS </a>&nbsp; &nbsp;');

You should save this code as .js (javascript) with your note pad after editing it. You can copy and paste the code for more than one.

Then it should be uploaded to a web space.

After that, take the URL of the code and put it in this code
Code:
<script src =SCRIPT URL></script>

Finally, put
Code:
<script src =SCRIPT URL></script>
into your site description.

Erm, as long as that javascript does not grow to long, it could be put in the Footer, as far as I can understand.

General Admin >> ForumUp

Scroll down to HTML codes on top and bottom of all forum pages

Paste the script into the second field, called Code at the bottom of the forum, after all topics.

Double check that the complete script is there, closing tags included.

Click Edit Allow HTML.

This is what I'm getting.

Could you please elaborate more on where exactly to put this code and which things to change in it. I did not do the last two steps because I did not understand.

Okay, thanks Fox. That's where I thought I would put it. Now what do I exactly change in it?

Sorry for all the posts. Is there a way to get different icons like the one in my first post?

You can put it wherever you want, but it pops up on the place that you put.

If you want it above, it should be put into the site description.

Scoobs, I only skimmed that script the first time around. At a closer look I'm not sure that it is the script you were asking for.

If I understand you correctly, you want to change the colour of the topic title, and that script is for some kind of Icon -- unless I'm having a bad day... Rolling Eyes

What I'm saying is that he has a ! as one of the icons. I would like to use that icon.

Sorry, I am having a bad day... Embarassed

Yes, that script must be made into a .js file, uploaded to another site, and linked to from the forum description, in Configuration.

Me and my big... Embarassed

To use that icon or another, please change red url in the code with the url of your icon that you want.

Okay. You might have already said this and flew past my head.(I guess this is what the .js file is for?) The whole code does not fit in the forum description. If it is a .js file I need where can I make it into one?
