Mark, please use a descriptive title when posting a thread and ask only one question. It would make it easier to recieve faster and more efficient support. Also, refer to the guides in the FAQ folder.
For changing your logo, read this thread

Unfortunately you cannot place it in the center.
For getting ads free, read this thread

As Alvas said, and as the rules of our forum say, use a title that describes your question. Do not make it be that very annoying, "helllllllp"! Of course you want help. This is the help/support forum.
The use of the term "jap" is considered an ethnic slur. It is considered offensive and derogatory against Japanese peoples. So, on your forum, you need to change the name. The correct thing is to spell out "Japanese".
The answers to your questions are all in our FAQ section and in the Announcements section.
After you have searched and read through the information, post a new thread about what you don't understand, a new thread for each topic.

@Alvas: Couldn't you use a script to center it?
Or to center it, but the logo as the forum title. (With the correct HTML code.)
I have not heard of a script that could do that and I doubt that the templates will allow such changes. However, I am not sure and if somebody finds the correct script, he may be able to center the logo.
One could use a template that has the logo centered or make a centered banner in the site description or in the header section.

I would have to disagree on the basis that jap car and japcar are widely used abbreviations on the Internet, and not used as a derogatory phrase. There are professional websites with the domain name japcar.
While I agree racism is abhorrent, I think you need to look at the context of trade phrases and abbreviations etc.

Anyone can make a website saying anything, so I would not use that as a guideline as to what is polite or offensive. It is a derogatory phrase, in the US anyway, as defined in both traditional dictionaries and "urban" dictionaries. Those websites may not realize it is, but that doesn't make it not the case. See:

I don't know how professional I would consider a website with such a name.
I guess young people who are far from the memories of World War 2 and who also are not of Japanese descent, don't realize what that term means. If one wants to insure not to offend, one would not use that term.
