i want to add a picture gallery to my forum,how can i do that?

losca, there is no way to literally add a gallery of that kind, as all such galleries are Mods, that require a "free standing" forum on its own server/site. This is not possible on a "multi-forum" (all forums on the server using the same software) setup like ForumUp.

What you can do is set up a gallery on Photobucket, for example, and put one or another kind of slide show (or a similar "widget" showing sample pictures) in a forum description, or in the Footer (below the forums).

If you want something like personal albums for individual members, then I came up with a slightly "primitive" solution in this thread:

And you can extend that with a slide show as well, but you'll have to add to it -- update it -- "manually".

Last but not least, I believe that there will be some kind of gallery option available on ForumUp, once we have upgraded to phpBB3 (some time during this year).

i just hope one day forumup forums can have their own galleries.
