Looks all correct on my side, the transaction is to thehellhole.forumup.com like wanted.

Another staff member want to confirm that this looks correct?

What do you mean by that? My forum is a .org - not .com?

Why would they be equal.

I'm confused. Sorry.

I was just correcting myself in my first post. I had put .com instead of .org. Should of made that more clear. Sorry!

That does look correct. You can see that it is still addressed to your forum.

Ahhh....I see. (about the .com .org thing)

Cool.

I checked the link from IE without being logged in and it seems to work that way too.

Hopefully this will solve the issues with ad removal and provide a way for members to pay straight through to paypal without using the Admins as middle men/women.

Thanks a bunch Scoobs.

You too Raulken. Thanks a lot.

Hopefully the first attempt at paying won't result in lost Euros floating about the interweb.

Shocked

Before you do start using it let me ask the other staff for their opinions.

I don't want money floating around in the web either. Wink

Yeah...I asked people to wait for a while longer before anybody tries it.

At least to wait until I give the word that it's ok to try.

I've tried changing the code to get it up in English but it doesn't work Embarassed

original code -

<form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post" target=_top>

and my two attempts -

<form action="https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post" target=_top>

also

<form action="https://www.paypal.com/en/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post" target=_top>

Seems fine to me. I got to the page to pay for ads for your forum.

If one selects a country from the list, the page turns into the Language of that country.

People would have to know what their country is written in Italian, though. It took me a while, but I found that the United Kingdom is "Regno Unito" in Italian. The United States is "Stati Uniti".

Thanks, Margaret, I did see that and as I live in Spain and speak Spanish it wasn't a problem for me ... for most it may well be confusing though. That's why I was trying to bring the page up in English.

If Raulken has a moment to edit the code for all the English speaking boards that would be fabulous.

Many thanks.
