Hi

We have a gamer guild in travian and uses forumup.dk.

Over guild name is TOS....

Ingame we recieved info from a player who told us that he easely could hack our forum and then he did. He made an account, that was activated upon registration - we have set it to admin activation, because its not a forum for all.

But he came in, under his own nickname, and wasnt approved by admin and started writing.

I told him that i would write to you, but he said, that all you would find was a little bug he has put on the forum. - not a trace of him.

I don't know if there is anything to do?

We consider changing to a more secure forum provider, but I don't know if thats the answer.

Are you sure none of the other admins activated him? I haven't heard before a user got activated - with admin activation on - without an admin activating him. Either way - just de-activate him in the admin panel, if he's not welcome.

As for your forum you could set the forums to private aswell, and create a usergroup and only let in the people you trust/that are welcome.

Interesting never heard of this happening. He probally activated his account by the email he would of got because if an Admin doesn't activate you-you use the email it sends automatically. He hacked your forum? i would say wow
