Hi, I'm one of George's fellow admins at

(albeit the massively non-techie-enabled part of that equation, alas).

We're not exactly sure what time things went south--whether of course that's relevant is also debatable--but I know that I was able to access it around 7 AM my time (3 PM U.K. time), and George was last able to access it around three hours later.

Since then, however, on this end I keep getting the, "The connection has timed out. The server at smas.forumup.co.uk is taking too long to respond" message, and evidently folks in the U.K. can't access it either.

Any and all help is vastly appreciated. ::hopeful look:: thankyou

Lilly.

I've noticed that alot of forums ending in forumup.co.uk arent loading but ones with forumup.com.

Why is that may I ask? Is there a server problem with forumup.co.uk?

I don't mean to double post, since I can't edit my recent post, but what I meant to say is "ones loading with forumup.com are.

The webmaster is aware of the problem. Hopefully the .co.uk server will be working fine soon. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Best to use email for that type of thing, since at times the forums go offline.

Hiya...same bat-problem, different bat-time. (Whoops, sorry, wrong fandom.)

The same thing is happening again at SMAS:

I can get the "The Sylvester McCoy Appreciation Society" frame to load, but the page itself remains blank until the, "Network Timeout--the server at smas.forumup.co.uk is taking too long to respond" message comes up.

Again, your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.
