I would like a kindly and prompt response to any admin or owner that could help me to have an urgent backup of my forum due of it's on a serious risk of hack attack.
I paid 50€ on October the 30th and adds had been removed successfully on the same payment day. After that payment I followed carefully all your instructions to request a backup of my forum (

) but I didn't get any backup files or anything, just this message:

Obviously I sent to the webmaster another backup request but not once but at least 3 times, only getting silence as an answer.
Due of these facts, I asked for some help at your forum support site in spanish and Assoth tried to help me kindly contacting with the webmaster and it's assistants without any success again.
Now I ask you so please any help from this forum support admins because I really need this security copy. My forum had received (and me and my admins too) some hack threats.
thanks in advance, I hope to hear you soon.

Please send the webmaster an email.

Assoth did post about your request in our private staff forum.

Regarding hacking, one thing that may help prevent that is if you do not allow html set in the admin panel.

I am sorry that Raulken, the webmaster, did not reply yet. I'll put a reminder in our staff folder.

It is not very easy for a forum to be hacked. The only way I know of it happening is due to the bad person somehow getting the admin's password. So make a long password with letters and numbers. Change it every once-in-a-while. Then those "password sniffer" programs will most surely not be able to guess it. Though, I really don't know how those evil programs work. But I do know that having what is called a "strong" password prevents almost all problems.

Note that a backup cannot be used to reupload to ForumUp's server. It is only of use if you will move to another host.
