I received this message on March 4th (4 days ago) and now I cant get into my forum

This is an automatic message from ForumUp because of no posts on your forum for a while. If you want your forum unblocked, go to your forum url and click the "unlock" button. Then you must make a post on your forum. If you ignore this message your forum will be deleted in days::
10

I still have the email. Can I please have my forum unblocked. It says I have 10 days and it was only 4

thanks

The forum has been deleted. There is no way to get it back.

I would appreciate knowing why...

can you just delete a forum without reason or explanation?

None of the staff personally deleted it. An automatic system on every domain automatically deletes forums with posts for 21 days.

There is no way of restoring a forum once it has been deleted, sorry.

Forums with no posts are deleted after 21 days to remove abandoned forums that aren't in use any more.

I understand that a forum that has not been touched in 21 days will be deleted.

Obviously this is NOT what happened to me because I got the notice on March 4th that I had 10 days. (I still have the email)

this was obviously a mistake.

So are you telling me that your automated program made a mistake and you have no way of correcting it?

thanks

The problem was reported to the webmaster. There have also been so out of the normal things going on relating to the system.

Why is it then sending messages that post here, you have 10 days left ? Take that kind of automatic messages off then, if it doesnt have any matter. Wink

Sometimes emails are sent in time, but got delayed for some reason for being delivered to the recipient.

In any event, the warning email is simply a courtesy. It says in every admin panel that if there are no posts for 21 days, forums will be deleted. So you need to go by how many days since the last post, not the date you happened to receive the automated courtesy warning email.

To be very honest (and with no offense), all this complaining wouldn't make much help, as the forum has been deleted. So I suggest you make a new forum with the same name again.
