On my forum I have these rangs with these pictures;

0-9 New member
< No picture, see question >
10-19 Introduced member

20-29 Rookie member

30-49 Loyal member

50-99 Respected member

100-249 Honored member

250-499 Essential member

500-749 Essential member

750-999 Special member

1000- Hero member

With "Add new rang" in Adminpanel I cannot find this picture (wich I want to use for 'New member');

(created with Photoshop)

On the Dutch support forum I asked how I could use this picture as a rangpicture, they said upload it to the internet and use the link.
I tried that with two uploadsites, a total of 7 different link-types.
All I get is the famous little red cross, but not my picture (wich is a .gif).

Can anyone please explain how to use this picture as a rang picture?

Hello!

Have you tried putting it into HTML code?

Code:
<img src="picture URL here">

Put that in the place of where you usually put the links.

I tried your suggestion for HTML-code;

But that also doesn't work..

Someone must have a solution...

Found the solution!

Just place the bare url in the right rang (adminpanel), ignore the little red cross, go to your forum and the rangpicture is there..

Strange, but it works..

(If you want to see the result, check my forum and go to "STEL JE VOOR..", click on a post to see the picture!

Yes. In the preview in the admin panel, one never sees the image when it is from an offsite link. But one does see the actual rank image in use for users on the forum itself.
