I'm posting it here cause the dutch support was unable to help me.

I need a backup of my forum (hamster.forumup.be)
When I start the procedure, it says to contact the

, so apparently I assume the function isn't working.

If possible, please mail me the backup (mail address in profile)

This means that you must email the webmaster for your backup. Backups no longer happen automatically. So you won't get the backup until you do as the message said, and send an email to the webmaster.

Wanting a backup is not an urgent problem so I moved this thread out of the urgent folder.

Thank you for the reply. But I've been waiting for days now (I mailed the webmaster before posting) and still haven't received an answer.

I don't want to push you guys, but maybe it slipped somewhere? Smile

Thanks.

He seems to take a few days, since probably he gets a great many emails. Try sending another email, and in the title add, "Second request for backup".

Make sure your message has all the necessary information.

Oh, stuck in a loop! Confused

You have to email Raulken yet again. I am sorry. In your email, also give the link to this thread.

Almost 14 days after the first request, still no answer nor backup.

Could you please look into it? I don't want to nag, but I'm losing lots of time on this Smile Anyways, thanks in advance for the effort.

Just as a matter of interest on this, at the moment i cant back-up the forum, all there is is:

Quote:
This feature has been disabled due to security reasons. Subscribe to
remove ads for activation. For full details go to the Support forum.: 0 (0)

If the club i've created the forum for chooses to pay to have the adverts removed,
would i then be able to back it up myself without contacting the webmaster ?

You must purchase the amount of no ads before you will be able to see the correct message. You will always have to email the webmaster to receive your backup.
