Currently, the server on which are the .com.au, .dk and .vn forums is not able to connect to any of the forums.

It might be from the Denial of Service (DOS) attack that has be going on, on and off, for the past few weeks, which has been discussed in detail in another thread.

We forum staff members do not yet know for sure what is wrong. When the webmaster tells the staff anything, the staff will pass on the information.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We understand the frustration and anger of having a forum that is not always available.

Hugs to us all in this time of frustration. :biggrouphug

Still no word from the webmaster, so nothing the forum staff can report.

All the forum staff are continuing to be sorry for this inconvenience and understanding of the frustration being experienced from those who cannot access their forums.

Have they even acknowledged that they know of the issue and are attempting to fix it?

We have not had any messages from the Webmaster for the past few days regarding this issue. However, he probably read the messages to him in the private staff forums, set off to work on the problem and just neglected to reply that he read the messages.

Why does that not sound very convincing.

I can't say why you perceive something one way or the other.

Ok, I will not give my opinion. The fact is messages were left for the webmaster in the private staff forum. He did not make a reply. It is unknown whether or not he read the messages. The fact that it is not known if he read the messages does not mean he did not read the messages. We simply do not know.

Don't suppose then you'd like to check when his last login into the staff forums was as that would give a good indication of whether the messages had indeed been read?

As it is I'm going to have to shift our forum to another hosting service come this weekend if the issue isn't resolved. I don't want to do that as flyers for our yearly tournament have gone out pointing to our forum, but having to redirect people is better then not having a forum at all.

The webmaster Stefano made a post in the TOS violation section the other day, Sept. 22 so he was on this forum.

There isn't a way to check when a person last logged in, by the way.

I hope this issue is resolved soon. I certainly understand your postion.

Can only tell that that we in our small association have started looking for other possibilities. "To be or not to be" on-line is rather important today. Luckily our forum has not grown that important that we might loose members.
Just for information to bring on to webmaster.

I sent private message to Stefano many hours ago, and he replied. He said he is sorry for the delay in replying and that he is handling the issue.

Of course, it is not possible to say when the problem will be fixed, but it is being attended to.

In the top of this forum you have written that the auto delete tool will not work for the next 2 months.

Please change this statement, and give us instead a guarantee that the auto delete tool will not work before the forums are up and running in a normal accessible standard, please.

going in to day 3 without our forumīs running !!!
Does the "webmaster" ore what you call him, know when this is up and running??
Maybe he should hire some people who realy work with computers and forums!
This is absolutely not acceptable! And that is wherther this is a free "service" ore is you are paying for it!
There are many people who has payed to be free of announcements on the forum.. What about them??
I have never heard of this bad a "service".. NEVER NEVER!!

And i hope the "webmaster" reads this post!

All decisions are up to the Owner Raulken. He made his assistant Stefano be the Webmaster, in charge of ForumUp, but Raulken has the final say on what happens with ForumUp and the servers.

I will yet again leave a message for Stefano. I will tell him to come read this read. Then, that is all I or any of the moderators can do.
