Another thread had be made about this same problem at:

I closed that other thread so that all comments about the same problem are in just one thread, which is this thread.

md venlig hilsen

Steen

Just a suggestion:
we attach a notice to users of our forum that it is unstable at ForumUp, and then we start to make our own forum regardless of ForumUp.
There are some options nowadays. It requires good enough that everyone should restore them when you move away from ForumUp and you lose everything that exists, but it has been worth it.

md Yours

Hej.

Mvh Carsten.

Hello.
Yes, something must be done!
We've talked about copying the existing forum page after page and then put it into the new forum .... But a mammoth task!
It is actually very bad because you can not copy the old into a new functioning ForumUp! We are totally dependent on it are already on our forum, as seen from the new members' goggles. but yes something needs to be done.
If you are interested let us keep in touch, one can hope that one pops up ok solution

Regards Carsten. ]

I already told you what I know about the problems.

Why would your members think you are making the trouble? If they don't believe you that there is a problem with the server, give them the link to this thread to see that is true.

Tell the members that ForumUp has had ongoing problems with the server your forum is on. Tell them that it seems to be a Denial of Service attack.

Also, for both you and kineseri, please only use English on this forum. If you also want to use Danish, add the English translation.

Well, we were just exchanging a few notes as we are both Danish and we have to use this forum when our own is down!
I have now started to send private messages in stead.
I waste enough time to look for little information about problems here on this forum, so I am certainly not going to waste time translating.

I wonder if you really believe that our users would go and look on this forum to see if we are telling the truth?
Half of our users have given up to use our forum, as they cannot be sure if it works.
