how do i get my site found on google does it need to be submitted to google or something if so how do i do that fro free?

i want people to be able to find my website easily online

try this register with google

That is not correct just for adding a url. Instead, go to

However, it is not necessary to even do that because Google searches the web to find and index webpages. There has to be content on the page, though.

The purpose of Google and other search engines is for people to do a search on a certain topic, then a list of websites with articles or some other type of content related to the search will show up. People will type a few words in the search box.

If you don't have content, there will be nothing to be found.

I am not sure what you are expecting from Google, but if you are thinking somehow "being listed with Google" is going to get you members, think again.
