Hay how do you get different ranks?
Because i have got like the default ones

Admin Panel - User Admin - Add New Rank

This will bring up a huge list of Rank images.

The tricky part is getting them back, into place.


So, open Notepad, or Word, and Cut & Paste each desired Rank URL, into that application.

When done, return to your Admin Panel (which is a trick in itself - 2 'backs' not 1).

Goto Ranks, and using Create or Edit, Cut & Paste your collection of Rank URL's into the Rank records.

And Bob's your uncle !

Those Rank images link back to Ec[lip]se' PhotoBucket account.

She may be able to help you source a set, or even copy hers.

Danny, some people make their own rank images and then put the url to where they have them stored. That is what I did on my cat forum. If you want "cat head" ranks, you can use mine.

You can't use someone's rank images that they made without asking them. And then if they say it is ok, you have to save them first on your own computer, and then upload them to your own picture hosting account.

An easier way to use the rank images that ForumUp has provided is to make the "Ranks" page "open in a new window", when you are in the admin panel. Then just copy the url to the rank image you want, and paste in the other browser window you have open in your admin panel.

I did the finals as JPG's, rather than GIF's. There's too many color shades for a GIF file, and I felt the quality loss wasn't worth it. Therefore the rounded corners are not transparent.

Don't forget to copy them to your own image host. I may not keep them for ever...
