You can now choose to set forums for admin to "Enable account activation" of those who register. This is done on the configuration page in the Admin Control Panel.

It will make it so that users who register will need to wait for the admin of a forum to activate their account. The person registering will not get an activation email. Instead, the admin will receive an email notifying that there was a registration needing attention.

Please note that ForumUp emails often get filted in spam, or bulk, folders of email programs. So be sure to always check those folders for emails from ForumUp, even if you do get some ForumUp emails in your inbox.

Also note that this function will not stop registrations from occurring, only that it will make it so users can't activate their own accounts. It will not stop spambot registrations.
