I continue to experience pages not fully loading. Today is the first day I've had this problem, and it's becoming increasingly frustrating. I know others in other groups are experiencing the same problem. However, I seem to be the only one in my forum who is having difficulty.

There is no consistency as to which pages will fully load and when.

I'd really appreciate help with this matter.

I'm experiencing a similar problem, and it only seems to be affecting me, as well.

So it's only affecting Admins of a Forum ?

It happens on Topics, Post Reply pages, Topic lists, Index page, Admin Panel ?

Have you purged your cookies ?

Christa, if you add border="0" to your image tags, it will remove that blue square from around all of your pics. eg;

Code:
<img src="http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q8/Pen_album/Kaos/wl.gif" border="0">

The other administrator in my group is not having a problem. I had no problem until yesterday and with some threads I'm fine; others won't load - no rhyme or reason (like length of thread, number of graphics).

Now it seems if I disable my Norton, I have better luck. But why all of a sudden? And why am I okay with some threads and not with others? It doesn't make sense.

TIA

I'm experiencing problems as well:

When scrolling down the page, at the bottom, it shows either part of a post (when within a topic) or the list of topics in the one open forum we have.

We can read, post, check our profiles, I can access administrator's panel as well.

One member has reported that she can't access the forum at all, she gets a message saying that she's not allowed to participate, but when I check her profile, her account is OK, and she's not banned or anything.

I'm a mess! Laughing What's going on?

Thanks!

How about the security settings of your browsers ?

Are there any restricted, or banned URL's that have similarities to ForumUp pages ?

I have been having the same problems you and Pooky described on ForumUp.com forums, using Firefox browser. Sometimes I can see the whole page, other times it gets cut off. Sometimes I can see all the posts in a thread, sometimes only the first few. Sometimes I get a blank page, with just the basic template outline and colors, indicating that the page itself did not fully load enough to get the words.

Sometimes when I refresh the page, it shows normally, but other times it gets worse. Then if I click to a different thread, it might or might not show normally. It seems random when it will be fine or not.

It apparently is a problem with a node out in cyberspace someplace, as Raulken, our Webmaster, discussed in another thread.

I can't get here at all with Internet Explorer 7.

There doesn't seem to be anything we can do about it. It should get better sooner or later, when that node out in cyberspace gets fixed, by whomever does that. In the meantime, try refreshing the page a few times, closing out the browser and reopening, etc. until you can get to a page looking normal, or normal enough to use.

Margaret /gg'ssimon, do you happen to be using Norton Internet Security? If I disable that entirely, the pages all load fully. I have a feeling that whatever is out there in cyberspace, Norton doesn't like!

Just wondering how many of us who are having problems use Norton.

Christa, the problem is not with Norton.

Raulken has said there is a problem with the some of the connections, hopefully it will be sorted soon.

While the problem itself obviously isn't with Norton, either disabling or installing a newer version seems to help. Things have been back to normal for me since I changed my version.

Well, that hasn't helped me, actually. I don't have that problem all the time - and certainly not when using the Firefox browser.
I guess we just have to wait till that node gets repaired or back to normal. Rolling Eyes

It is a good question. I use McAfee.

I am more curious to know where the people with the problem live, to see if it is all from just one area. Where do you live? City, State and Country.
