Will this EVER be corrected? I have emailed, posted, PMed, and still, no backup. It's been 2 months since I paid a small fortune for this. Why is it taking so long? Does anyone have any ideas for me? Please reply. _________________

I have gone through the same as you, I hope it will be corrected, I’m about to have another go (yes that means paying again) and I hope I get my backup.
Can I ask who your e-mail account is with, my hotmail account didn’t work, now I have a yahoo account.
I have also tried from different locations, you could also try that just incase there is a problem with your computer.
From my experiences so far all I can say is to do what admin and mods say, and give them good feedback so eventually this can be fixed!

I have just tried to get a backup, I have done all you said to do, my owner email is now yahoo.co.uk BUT IT STILL DIDN’T WORK.
I paid another 50 euro then requested the backup, I got the special email instantly this time but when I clicked on the >> to download it I get this again;
Information
Cannot resend within 24 hours, please wait.24hours
This is what kept happening before.
Can you tell me what’s going on, I have been very paitent about this and it is costing me a lot of money to keep trying not to get anything.
I created this post Fri Apr 06, 2007 2:38 pm, that’s 3 months of doing all that you have said, I see this as being quite urgent now so please help, can Raulken just send me the backup, I can provide a FTP site to upload it to.

Same problem here; any chance of receiving the backup file manually?

I wish I had seen this before I paid TWICE for no ads... read the instructions first and ordered 5 lots of no ads but then realise that wasn't enough so ordered another bunch of 8 - oh, and the click count is going down fast but yet people are still seeing the ads. The ads are stopping people from posting and putting others off joining.
Why is there such a difference in price between the countries - 10 euros for 100000 clicks isn't good when compared to 10 euros for 150000 for the .com sites _________________

So what is your problem? That people can still see adverts or you can't get a back-up? _________________

Thanks for your reply
I'm still getting reports that the ads are showing - but not for everyone.
I've just retried the backup email thing - after waiting 24 hours... was referred back to the home page.
To be honest... if this is a known issue I can't see why it is still advertised as a way to get back ups. Surely it should be fixed before more people shell out money that they don't have! Our group has tried really hard with fund raising and it's all gone in the payment for the back up which we don't appear to be able to receive.
So - the main thing is the back up - the ads are a secondary thing but in fact are a big part of our requirement for a backup.

Right okay, I was confused there for a minute. I see the adverts are still showing.
It is still advertised at the way to get back-ups because it is the way to get them but if you do read ALL the information on back-ups they are still in their preliminary stages, therefore there may still be problems. _________________

In the admin panel, there is a choice to have ads not seen for registered users only. That will stop your count from going down due to bots and people just looking around.
As far as registered, and logged users are concerned, either no one can see ads, or they all can.
Regarding the backup problems, you need to contact Raulken about it.
I'd not pay anymore until you hear from him. _________________ Margaret /gg'ssimon~ForumUp World-Wide Administrator

Thanks - I can't afford to pay for any more anyway - I've already paid 130 euros
I've set up as no ads only for registered users to save the clicks - thank you
I imagine that the ads thing does depend on the individual users set up - personally I never saw the ads anyway because I use firefox with adblock plus so I was blissfully unaware of the problem until someone complained.... I'll keep a note of any ads that get through
Thanks _________________
