If i want to move my forum? Whu do someone has to move forum? What's the point?

No one has to move their forum. In this case, one person doesn't want his forum and the other person has a forum, but also wants the forum the first person has. So the thought was to just merge them both together. But, it can't be done.

1) It's not possible to change the URL of your ForumUp site, you will either have to make a new forum, or buy your own domain and a domain redirect.
2)

is the domain for the main ForumUp site, it is not available to be your personal forum's URL Wink

If someone wants to move. will u give him/her a backup?
How are we supposed to move without a backup feature?! Question

Anyway I am enjoying my stay here. Thanks for the great service and quick helpful support Very Happy . I am only looking forward to a backup button in order to backup the forum in case that I face a problem because I care very much for my posts and members. And I hope u will not make me disappointed.

Backups are not available at the moment so no at the moment, you will not receive a backup.
This post is so that you can inform us that you have moved your forum only and follow the procedure given by the webmaster.

You would simply completely start your forum again somewhere else.

The original discussion on moving Forums was began whilst the Backup utility was in development. Although this topic is actually about the setting up of redirects to non FU sites.

Other priorities halted the Backup project, and so moving was no longer an option.

However, since the recent announcement that the Backup project is active again, and nearing completion, you may want to delay starting over, at least for a few weeks.

I should also note that the Backup option is only available to forum owners on the Ads-Free subscription.l

i have already removed my forum. i would prefer my site not to be blocked until 1 september when i will be sure all members have seen where to go and my competition has finished. then i would request that you delete it or i will lock all forums until 35 day rule applies.
