This code will link you up to my test files. If you like it, I'll provide you with the instructions for your own independant setup.

Goto Admin Panel.

Styles Admin - ForumUp Theme.

Scroll down a bit, to the CSS URL field.

Enter this code:
Code:
http://h1.ripway.com/kana3/Getaway.css

Press [Change CSS].

Pop back out to your Forum Index, and take a gander.

Kana3 can you please change one image for me, the one of the young girl in the door way, it is very similar to a childline picture and I can't provide the emotional support on my forum for young people that childline can, Sad I would not want to seem to be promoting a support forum for young people......

Thank you for using the paperchain men at the top, I thought that was a lovely touch my moderator will be pleased with that...very thoughtful of you Thanks Very Happy

Ok, you need to have a host site that will accept text files. MyFileHut.com, and Ripway.com are good. Ripway allows you to edit your files on-line, which I find handy. They have a 24hr bandwidth cap, but I've never reached 1% as yet !

Step One.

Here is the Logo image. Save that, and upload to your usual image host.

This one's a bit more difficult, a one pixel invisible graphic ! Here's the link, do the same as for the Logo above.

Step Two.

Copy this code into a text editor, such as Notepad.

Change the file references to match your own hosted images. One for the Logo, two for the 1x1 invisible Pixel.

Save the file something like 'getaway.css'. Note: Not as .TXT, but as .CSS. Upload this file to your text file host.

Code:
#logotable td { background: url(http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/8263/jstudycounsellingtr6.jpg) top center repeat-x; height: 150px; overflow: hidden; }
.logo-row { background: url(http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/5514/gblank1x18gh.gif) top left no-repeat;  height: 1px;  overflow: hidden; }
.logo-row2 { background: url(http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/5514/gblank1x18gh.gif) top right no-repeat; height: 1px; vertical-align: middle;  overflow: hidden; }

Step Three.

Goto Admin Panel - Styles Admin - ForumUp Theme.

Scroll down a bit to the CSS URL field.

Place your URL to your 'getaway.css' file on your host.

Press [Change CSS]. And that's it.

The pixel graphic:

Right mouse click: 'Save Link as...', or 'Save Target as...', depending on your browser.

Ripway:

Login - My Files - Upload Files - Browse, blah blah - Upload...

Should be straight forward from there.

No, it looks good !

Works perfectly for me. You may have placed your CSS reference into the FavIcon field by mistake ? Check that, and redo.

With storing the Images, I'd consider storing them on your regular image host. Just use RipWay for the CSS file. The images will chew up your 24hr allowance pretty quickly. Plus I don't think they're as fast as a dedicated image host. Don't forget to change the URL in the CSS file, if you do.

I only keep my text files there, CSS and JS javascript files.
