a spammer use a proxy server for change ip
a spammer use a OCR for read code OR use human eyes OR brutal force with many code
can be good know as a spammer find the system for force the captcha and put this spam user...

BUT

I cannot use a proxy finder, this system can be not good for real user use firewall. Ip proxy change day after day....
I cannot stop real time human to register...
I can find system for detect brutal force (already used, try to type wrong visual code many time...)

Any idea are accept, but now 90% of spam are blocked

I've added a few more days to my chart, so you get a better feel for it now.

Of interest, is the little spikes of 4 hits. The data reflects that it's the same Spam-bot on the day, doing the rounds. Obviously if it get through on one site, it can manage on others running the same software.

I can provide you with them all. (a lot of work tho')

I haven't removed any within the time frame indicated in the chart, as I wanted to keep a watch on the results of the anti-spam routine.

This data is from AU, DK, HU, JP, Name, NL, NZ, Org, PL, and SE. Org is generally the hardest hit.

Although, here on Com, I could guarantee a few, without looking.

I have see and, IMHO, are all HUMAN spam.

I disagree with you. The data arrangement is consistent with the historical Bot data.

There's a lot of 'dud's' in the Memberlist, but I've excluded anything that I couldn't say for sure, was a Spam-bot.
