I know the answer has to be somewhere on here, but I can't seem to find it. The question is: how do I move threads/posts from one section of the forum to another? I know how to move the actual individual "forums", but not the posts and threads. Can someone plase help?

You have to go to a topic on your forum, on the bottom of the page on the far left, you'll see 4 icons.

This is how they look with the subSilver template:

I left a bit of the page so you can see where to look.

The cross is to delete the topic, the -> (arrow?) is to move a topic to another forum, the third one is to lock a topic and the 4th one is to split several posts from 1 topic into 2 topics. You can not make 1 topic from 2 topics (merge).

Hope that's the explanation you're looking for, feel free to ask any more questions you have though.

Thanks you so much! I'm blink and never noticed the tiny buttons, lol.

One other thing, do you know how to sticky threads?

You have to click on the edit button of the first post in a topic. Under the box where you write your message, it should say this:

Post topic as: Normal Sticky Announcement

There you select Sticky then, or Announcement if you want it to be an announcement.

To "un-sticky" them, you have to go into the first post again and select "Normal".
