Hey thanks Astarte!

I fiddled around with the frappr one last night and didn't like the way the map comes up on the main page of the forum taking over everything. I'll check that Buddymap out.

Oh! I don't like either the buddymap or the frappr one Sad

I saw I can put up a little logo for buddymap instead of the map but in both cases clicking on it takes you to the buddymap site and that's not what I want.

Maybe it's just not possible to do what I want on a forumup board sigh

Thank you for your help everyone, particularly FoxLeonard.

You are welcome, Pistachio, and thanks for the input Astarte. I have feeling that I thought Buddymap and Frappr were one and the same... Embarassed

That's more or less inevitable, when you cannot integrate the map and its functions with the forum; when you cannot install a Mod. I believe that Buddymap, or something very similar, is the closest you can come with an add-on.

Well, we have at the very least created a thread of information and resources on the subject.

Okay, well I also have this on my forum:

It's a guest book......
It's a slide show with photos down the side. As your pic comes up onto the main screen, there's a map behind it showing where you are from.

Have a look, you never know, it might appeal. Very Happy
