Locke, are you sure that you are using the direct URL to the CSS file? And not the URL to a Ripway page, for example.

Have you tried to upload the CSS file to

just to see if it makes a difference?

When you copy and paste the URL, make sure that you copy the URL only, without spaces before or after. If the "marker colour" goes outside of the URL, the tool in the Admin panel may "misunderstand" it, and believe that it begins or ends with a space.

If none of the above works, then copy the URL you are trying to use and paste it in a reply here, using code tags please. You find the Code button next to Quote in the posting panel. It should look like this example:

Code:
http://staff.forumup.com/posting.php?mode=reply&t=11307&mforum=staff

I have removed your other post on the topic to avoid misunderstandings. Apologies for the delayed reply.

FoxLeonard

Locke, this may be the correct URL, but you need to rename the file.

Code:
http://h1.ripway.com/Locke/style%20%201

It seems like you have uploaded it as .txt file or similar, rather than as a CSS file. It's hard for me to tell for sure from this end, but that seems to be the kind of error you have made.

You need to save it as a .css file first in order to have it uploaded as a .css file.

Maybe our tutorial on the matter will help:
