Hi, I need some help! I have a user that registered when he was in USA but moved to China. He was able to post two times and now it is not letting him post! Every time he writes something, it goes to a different page saying this session is invalid. Could it be his IP address? I have check out his profile in the adim panel and he is set up as a user. Any help would be MUCH APPRECIATED! Thank you!

Hmmm. I don't know. But maybe his internet access goes on and off- being an unreliable, inconsistent connection.

If he is browsing a lot but not trying to post, does it finally do the same thing?

I dont know about the browsing thing but, I do think his connection isnt that reliable. He has tried to post several times on several separate occasions and its only worked two times. HELP! He is a valuable member to our forum so this is really important to me. What if I had him re register? He wasnt able to register the first time so he got help registering from a CA, USA IP then acquired the pass word. So the problem is so severe that he wasnt even able to register why is he having these problems? Could it be the country? Could I do something in my admin panel to allow him?

Holly, I strongly believe the problem is the country he is in:

You don't really have to read those articles; just skim them and you'll get an understanding of the width of the problem, so to speak...

Maybe he can use something like this:

There are for sure proxies that work and there is a huge "underground" internet in China, all down to secret cafes and the likes, but it is up to your member to find them, I'm afraid.

Basically, China has tight controls over internet use and does not let it's citizens have much freedom with what they can do or where they can go online.

There is nothing you can do. It has to do with the Chinese government. They do not like their people going to chatrooms, forums, etc.
