I want a complete mysql database backup and the character set to utf8 or can you at least tell me what the character set is right now on this backup. I know right now the backup is not set as a utf-8 character. I would like a full backup set in utf-8.

Wow, what a waste of 15 bucks. Lucky you don't charge more or else litigation would be worth it.

This site is a scam and a fraud. Do not participate in it. It is fraught with viruses and is a rip off scam.

Nothing is a fraud, scam or rip off. This site is not fraught with viruses. Just because you are having problems and are frustrated, it is not correct for you to post such libel. Maybe ForumUp should take you to court for your libelous comments.

Go read again very carefully the first two posts in this thread. Do you see the large, black bold part that says, "if you want TRY to get backup is complete YOUR RISK. "

Also, you must read the other post about backups in the FAQ folder at

Did you do exactly what was told to do in those posts? Did you do what was said to do if still a problem, which is to email Raulken? If you followed those instructions and emailed Raulken, then no sense for you to keep posting in this thread.

Did you also pay attention to the the notices in more than one place on this forum that:

IMPORTANT: You are purchasing ‘Show without Ads’, to have the Advertising on your Forum removed. The Backup option is a preliminary feature only. You cannot request a refund for the failure of a Backup because you experience extended delays, errors, or other problems. Backup is only an additional feature for those Users who buy a higher quantity of ‘Show without Ads’.

Fine print fine print...

Prelim?

If you don't set the encoding at utf-8 you are in the stone age and are selling a lemon.

Buy at your own risk?

I will tell the members of this forum...do not purchase this. It is no good. In fact, it took me getting uppity to even illicit a response.

You didn't get a response previously because it was expected that you would follow the instructions, which were: email Raulken if you have problems with the backup.

The instructions are not "fine print"; they are the instructions.

It has been stated clearly in more than one place that the backup is still in a preliminary stage, meaning not perfected. It has been clearly stated that the process is not easy. It has been clearly stated that backups are not being sold. It has been clearly stated that one is purchasing a lot of "no ads".

This thread is no longer needed to continue for posting, since Raulken has requested people email him if they continue to have problems with the backup AFTER having carefully read and followed the instructions listed on this forum.
