i want to create a style only for my forum... so ... would you give any ideias how to get started and how to do it ???

First of all start with adding your own logo.

In ForumUp's F..A.Q. you can find a script so you can change the icons before posts.

Also this guide, so you can change the stylesheet:

You might like to use another template that ForumUp has. To see the choices, in your admin panel go to Styles Admin> Styles Administration.

You can change the colors of the various fields on the subSilver template you are currently using by editing the theme in the admin panel. A few other styles can also be edited, such as subRed. Go to Styles Admin>Management. The click on "edit" next to the theme. Change the color code in the area where you want to change the color.

An easy change to make is the color of the skinny outer border line. On this forum it is orange. To change that color, it is: Table Header Colour 1.

IMPORTANT: When you are experimenting with editing a template, be sure to install a second template and make that other one the default template. Then in case you really mess up with editing the one template, your users won't see the mess, but will instead see that second template.
