Well i created a halo modding forum. Have halo pc? Think it would be fun to start modding. come take a look. Its brand new so not to many members, but that doesnt mean we dont have the right tools. All the tools are there up for download, and modding halo pc is 100% legal because there is no way you could mod it to make you better in xbox live.

its not hacking. Microsoft said its ok, as long as you dont mod to help you in xbox live. This is 100% legal since halo 1 doesnt have xbox live compatibility. They even made Custom Edition so you can mod the game more (Create custom models, weapons, vehicles).

Ok, look. Halo 1, and Halo Custom Edition have no way of being xbl capable. neither does Halo 1 Xbox.

Making a gun shoot 1 shot kills cant help you get a better gamerscore because they dont keep track in halo 1. Halo 2/3 is xbl capable. Halo 1 is not.

Therefore Modding of the game Halo 1 Xbox, PC, or Halo Custom Edition (pc only) is 100% legal.

I just thought if anyone who played halo wanted to start moddingbut didn't know how would see this post and sign up. Also if you read the rules, the forum does not support illegal modding or warez. I dont know what makes you guys not believe me .

Edit:also piratescoobs, just FYI in halo 3 there is a gametype that makes guns shoot one hit kills. I fail to see you point about 1 hit kills boosting gamerscores.

The Halo CE game is designed to use custom content. The editing kit allows you to create custom maps.

In order to install the Halo CE (Custom Edition) game you MUST own a copy of the Halo PC Retail version of the game, have the Halo PC Retail version CDROM and the CD Product Key number which is printed on the yellow sticker labeled "Product Key". You MUST have the CDROM inserted into your CD Drive to install and run the game. If you do not have the physical CDROM and the correct CD Key you will not be able to install or run the game. Installing the Halo CE game will not affect or change your Halo PC Game they can both run on the same computer.
