Hi Gotarch.
If you mean something like a feed, the answer is no, that's not possible. It requires Mods that are not available on ForumUp. And even with the Mods it would perhaps also require php on your site.
But why not do it the old fashioned way, and have say ten or so direct links to the most interesting topics, and update the list manually on a weekly basis, for example. A quarter of an hour of copy and paste should do it...
You could also link directly to the View Unanswered Posts feature (right upper corner, together with View Posts Since Last Visit and View Your Posts). That will include the very latest topics, until someone replies that is...

Sorry, but do you mean a link from your website to your forum, or do you actually mean a link from your your forum to your website?
Depending on which was round you want to do it, there are easy (or at least easier) ways to manage it.
If you could let us know which you are trying to do I'd be happy to help. _________________ UK Beaders:

Hi Kitschkitty,
I mean I'd like to have a link anywhere on my forum to my website. I already have a link from my website to the forum. People complain that they can't go back to the website from forum.
If it possible I'd like to have the link on the top of forum page. An icon or text with hyperlink would be fine. Thank you very much. |

Below is how to make a hyperlink, with text to be clicked on. Put it in a forum description box so it shows on the index page:
| Quote: | | <a href="http://websiteyouwant">Words you want people to read to click on.</a> |
If you want to be able to have a section at the top (header) as we do on this forum in the box that says "Welcome", you have to pay to have advertisements removed. That will then allow you to post html code at the top before the actual forum (called the "header"). See: Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! |

Hi there
You could try to use subportal style, it allows you to do what you want. _________________ Ajuda em Português->

Does that work on all the templates available? _________________ UK Beaders:

I think the easiest solution, that doesn't require paying for advert removal or any changes to your forum is add an new forum/board to the top of your forum with a clickable text link or clickable image in it.
Go to Forum Admin >> Management
Add a new forum (you do not have to give it a name).
In the description box put the details of your text link, or banner/image (you need to have the image uploaded to photobucket or flikr etc).
The code you need to put in the description box for it to be a clickable image is:
| Code: | | <a href="http://www.yourwebsiteaddress.com"><IMG SRC="http://www.photobucket.com/myimage.jpg"></a> |
for a text link:
| Code: | | <a href="http://www.yourwebsite address.com"><font size="3"><b>WRITE IN WHAT YOU WANT THE CLICKABLE LINK TO SAY</b></font></a> |
(change the text size, by changing the number in font size="3")
If you move the new forum board to the top it will stand out.
I have just an image in my forum, as I don't need it to be a clickable link, but you can see how it looks.
Don't forget to lock the forum, so that nobody can start any topics in there!
Hope this helps. _________________ UK Beaders:

Yes, it is standard html. It works on all templates in the forum description boxes.
| Code: | | <a href="http://websiteyouwant">Words you want people to read to click on.</a> |

| Code: |
<a href="http://websiteyouwant">Words you want people to read to click on.</a> |
Where exactly are you putting it?
If you want it to show on the index page, go to the admin panel. Then under "Forum Admin", click on the word "Management" Make a forum section. Then click on the word "edit". On that page, put the code in the "description" box.
Of course you have to put an actual correct url. And you have to type the code exactly correctly, no extra spaces where there are not supposed to be any. _________________ Margaret /gg'ssimon~ForumUp World-Wide Administrator
