To me it seems you and your members just have slow connections, either it be between the servers or the internet in whole. _________________ Jordan (PirateScoobs)

Well, since it is not slow for we staff, there is not any kind of major problem. It may have to do with the ads. If you have not put on a popup blocker on your browser, try doing that. It will help.
As I said before, give it a few days and see how things go. There is nothing to deal with at this moment. _________________ Margaret /gg'ssimon~ForumUp World-Wide Administrator

Go to Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! | google something simple(doesn't matter what it is), take a screen shot of it.
Go to your forum, go to a topic, scroll to the bottom of the page and take a screen shot.
Post both screen shots here for me to see. _________________ Jordan (PirateScoobs)

I noticed something strange now though.
Look at the two "Again" in this post:
Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! |
The last one is "cut off" at the bottom, as are all "g-s" on a single line in my posts above it...
It may be template related after all...
Sweatpea, please try to change to subSilver, as Margaret suggested, and see if it makes a difference...

Sweatpea, I've posted this on your forum already, but I'll repeat it here as well:
There are a lot of ideas and suggestions about it now, in this topic. I don't think we can come up with more at the moment.
Try changing back to the subSilver template, just in case that little bug I saw, happens to make a difference...
Apart from that...
Give it a few days, and see if things normalize -- especially after the "key-word" pop-ups are gone. The pop-ups that are connected to words in the messages that turn into links -- get underlined -- as long as you are logged out.

You don't need to do that. Our staff does not need that information. I don't know why member PirateScoobs is interested. _________________ Margaret /gg'ssimon~ForumUp World-Wide Administrator

Why are you asking another member to do that? The ForumUp staff does not need to see those screenshots.
Sweetpea, there is nothing wrong with the server or your forum. This matter is closed for now. _________________ Margaret /gg'ssimon~ForumUp World-Wide Administrator

I guess he's asking because if you Google something - you get the page generation time too (right corner - next to the "results # of ##).
On that way he can compare the page generation time on Google (which is supposed to be fast) with the page generation time on the forum (which is slow). _________________

Oh, I see. Well, whatever the situation was, it is not a ForumUp problem. _________________ Margaret /gg'ssimon~ForumUp World-Wide Administrator
