That is not an urgent problem. The urgent problem folder is only if the forum doesn't work at all. I moved this to the "not urgent problems" folder.

Your forum is extremely fast for me just now:
Page generation time: 0.023

You and your members may experience some slowness from time to time. That happens on most all websites. Just try again at another time.

Your forum itself does not have a problem.

It is possible that the webmaster was working on the server. When that is happening, it can slow things down.

Do not report slowness on a forum unless it happens non-stop, day and night, 24 hours a day, for several days.

It's now 3:40 AM for me now. Both this support forum and your forum are running a little slow, but not much. The page loading time on your forum is approximately 5 seconds, and it is approximately 7 seconds on this support forum. When we have gotten used to things happening instantly, in way less than one second, 5 seconds may seem slow, but in the scheme of life, that is actually quite fast.

I suspect that our Webmaster may be doing work on the server to account for the slowing down at this time. He is working these days on updating the forums.

I was wondering when the normal speed of the forums will be available.

Is your forum running slowly?

The forums will be back to normal speed when the Webmaster finishes his work. He is in the process of backing up forums to then update all of them to a newer version of phpBB.

The .com forums are not all on the same server. So some .com forums may seem to run faster than others depending upon which server the Webmaster is working on.

In addition, forums that have the ForumUp hosted ads will often take longer to load due to the page first calling up the ad, and then after that the forum fully loads. If one pays to remove the ads, one's forum probably will load faster.

To remove ads see our instructions at

Images that people put on their forums, such as in avatars, signatures and on the index page can slow down a forum loading. If the server where the image is hosted is running slow, it will affect the forum the image is on while waiting for the images to load.
