Hello, i have made a forum, its for a online game, and our team got into a fight and some have left, and now we have to change the url name, because the ppls that left, has copyright on that name, so, i wanted to ask u forum up team , im begging to change me url, because i hardlyy did this forum, and its allot of work, to do it all again, so this is my forum url

You can not change your forum URL. You'd have to close the one you started (especially since the name is copyrighted), and sign up for a new forum.

Names of things, such as the name of a game, aren't copyrighted. They might be protected if a registered trademark.

What is khudamu?

Who said you needed to change the url of your forum? The people who left did so of their own free will. So they can't then say they are "taking" the url of the forum also!

Oops, trademark not copyright. Sorry. Trademark-name, copyright-work. I knew that, I don't know why I said copyright. Confused

You can keep the url. If a real lawyer contacts our webmaster with legal documents showing that the name "khudamu" is protected by law, then you would not be able to keep your forum with that URL. I doubt there are such legal documents, however.

If you prefer to avoid a bunch of grief, then make a new forum, and copy and paste the posts you want to keep. Your members would need to register again.
