So how much does this annoying feature generate in terms of advertising cash for Forumup?

I know there's probably nothing I can say to get this feature removed, but I'm getting complaints from my membership, so I figured I'd mention it here. Misery loves company. If I get complaints, I guess you should too? Embarassed

I wonder if it pushes potential new members away when they first decide to check out a forumup forum?

They stink.

What's worse is that they seem to have gotten better at assaulting every sentence in a post. There are times when there might be a dozen or more of those friggin links per post.

It makes a forum look like cr*p when you just pop in for a visit.

Just thought you might like some feedback on it.

I noticed that the other day too - I wonder why it was done (no word from Raulken), as there are already ads on top, popups when you visit the forum and ads on the bottom.

Still, the only thing you can do (perhaps with support of your members) is buy ads-free. When you share the costs it won't cost you a lot, and you and your members are happy.

I think once a "member" logs-in, the intellitxt disappears.

It's only when you visit a forum you are not a member of that they invade your eye space. Evil or Very Mad

Which is why they might actually drive potential new members away.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Smile

Still - the only way to get rid of it is buy ads-free.
