Hi there, i've got to grips with most of the functions of my forum, however im a little stuck on this issue!

I would like to add some java games to my forum. Getting the code and adding it to the forum description is not a problem!

However I would like to add games to a sub forum contained within the Games forum. This would mean that from the main page the games were not visible (less cluttered) (and thus not slow peoples computers down if they did not want to access them) and to access the games the user would click on the games forum, which would then take them to the games forum where the games would be located!

My problem is that I cannot find a way to create a sub-forum iin my forumup forum and I think this is the only way to implement a game, as you cannot add the code to a post!

So to get to the point.

1. How do I go about adding a java game to my forum, but have it located inside the games forum, not viewable from the main forum page?
2. How do i create a sub forum to achieve the above?
3. If i cannot create a sub-forum, is there a way to do what I would like to do?

1. & 2. You cannot make subforums within the main forums.

3. I ran into this problem also along the way of making one of my own forums. The best way I found was to make a user group and a Private(Hidden) forum that displays the game. That way you can add the members that want to see the game into the user group and the ones that don't, do not see them.

You can also add the game inside a post. If you want so, make sure to allow HTML and all the tags in the game's code in the Admin Panel.

But still, only the code will be shown to people that do not have it activated yet.

Tell your users they must activate HTML in their profile to make the game show up in a post.
