How do new people register?

Something is wrong with the template. Install another template and see how it goes. To install a new template read our FAQ at

.

Install the theme/template named "ForumUp" since it looks the same as the one you currently have (which is subSilver). Make the new template (ForumUp) be the default template (see FAQ listed above for how to do that.) Then delete the subSilver template.

Can you please tell me how people register.

A friend has filled their details in on the register link, but there is no confirm button.

I see what you mean. Have you removed the old template out of the list of "active" templates? As the register form gets stuck at the "board style" (= active templates).

If not, try removing the template and see if she can register then.

Your forum default template was listed as being something not a template. It was listed as:
Quote:
Powered by phpBB 2.0.23 © 2001 phpBB Group

When I selected to add a new template, it would not add it. Something is wrong with your forum.

I will leave a message for the webmaster.

In the meantime, maybe you would want to make a new forum. You can't use the same email address to make a new forum on the same domain. But, you can either make a new forum with your same email address on one of the other ForumUp domains, such as this .com domain, or, you can use another email address to make another forum on the .co.uk domain.

Oh my goodness, if I have to start a new forum from scratch, is there anyway that the information I have added to my current forum could be transfered? As it has taken me hours to add the information.

Nope, sorry! But you can copy - paste this time, so shouldn't take hours, right?

The images for the template don't exist, at least the Bulgarian language version ones don't.

The English language version of the images presumably exist.

Why the Firefox problem?

With Internet Explorer, the "alt" text strings are shown when the image is missing. You can also see the little box with the cross instead of the missing image.

Firefox doesn't recognise the "alt" string for images and uses "title" instead.

So to get the text string, this code ...

Quote:
<img src="templates/darkages/images/lang_bulgarian/register.gif" border="0" alt="Регистрирайте се" hspace="0" vspace="22" />

would need to be changed to

Quote:
<img src="templates/darkages/images/lang_bulgarian/register.gif" border="0" title="Регистрирайте се" alt="Регистрирайте се" hspace="0" vspace="22" />

Our Webmaster has fixed things. Please confirm if it is fixed for you.
