I hope this is the right area for this post.
It is not "Urgent Problem" but I would like to eliminate it.

I am getting "guest" visitors and they are posting some sick things on my forum I have the user mode set to "admin" it was set to "user" but I am still getting the junk.

Help; am I missing a setting?
How are they posting WITHOUT the reg.?

Please - Thank You

AdamsEve

It is because every guest can post on your forum.

You should change the permissions of your forums for posting to registered users. Go to your admin panel, forum admin - permissions. There select a forum and make sure it is set on Registered or higher (so anything but 'Public'). With the advanced mode you can chose your forum to be readable, but guests can't post.

That should solve your problem.

Thank you Ales for your answer.

I did what you said and moved the "Public" to "Registered".

Today I have 12 more "JUNK" post in my one topic.

I am sorry; but how are they doing this " WITHOUT REGISTERING"?

This is getting to be a pain in the you know what.

If they get by "Registered" why can't they get by a higher "permissions"?

As like before any and all help is appreciated.

In which forum do they post? In all or in a particular one? I just tried posting in all of your forums and keep getting the message to login.

Thank you for your help and patients as you can tell am a newbie at the forum community.

After I posted you I went back in the the Adm and checked EACH category and found some "register" and some "public" I thought if you did one it would be for all.

I went down each category and made them all "register".

Again thank you for you help and not telling me that I was a dodo.
