We were wondering if it was something to do with the in progress maintenance work, Ive posted your notice below

Forums may be running slowly and even go offline at times during the next few days while our Webmaster does backups and other work on the server, such as updating all the forums to the newest version of phpBB- 2.0.23.

We have notified our webmaster, although I thought I read somewhere it was fixed. Guess not...

Just tell your members to turn off the "post notification" - because then you can post without getting the error message. The error is there because it can't send the post notification emails, which is why they don't get the email.

Of course you can leave the post notification on aswell, but you'll get the error then - until it's fixed.

Hey guys sorry if i am posting a dead issue but looking for a fix, i have tried deleting 200 dead members to reduce prob,

i can send 1 email from mass email to a group but not to all users
can i get ideas? [email deleted - ales]

Make a user group and add those 200 members to the group. When making the mass e-mail change the recipiants to the group you made.

Opps! I think I misread your problem! You should be able to select in the drop down box All Users.

Moderator edit his e-mail?

i can send to a user group i fail and error on mass email to All Users
50% on page load and bleh dies

now work? if not please give me detailed info of problem

i have tried from 3 locations, 2 in my city, 3rd in another on our server box rental
i ahd 1300 users, thought it was too much tried to clean out, cleared to 1200 then cleaned out more too 1000+

Still nothing
i figured a pic might give an idea

i copied the complete error to a txt and uploaded
