Check the spam/junk folders on your email account. Sometimes, ForumUp emails end up there. Also see if you have set activision of accounts to Admin in the admin panel.

If you did not set your forum to "activation by admin", then you will not receive activation emails for other people. THEY will get them.

If YOU want to activate all new members without them getting the email, then go to the admin panel and set it to "Activation by Admin".

So then why on your forum do you say:

Quote:
please note there is a problem with activation emails so you mite not recieve a email please give it 24 hours and then attempt to sighn in

If you have it set to "activate by admin", the members will NOT get any activation email.

In the meantime, check the member list and then check the profile of the registrant in the admin panel, and activate them there if you want them to be activated.

i put that there today so people know that i will activate them but they wont get the message that they used to get to say they are active

what use to happen is

1 they register
2 i got an email with a link on to activate them
3 i clicked link and they recieved an email to say they were activated allowing them to log on

now they are registering but i am not recieving email so cant click link so that they can recieve email so i put this

please note there is a problem with activation emails so you mite not recieve a email please give it 24 hours and then attempt to sighn in

so that they know to try

Hello, hath. I am sorry, but we have never experienced an issue like this and we have no idea what to do. However, we will do our best to help you.

Since your forum is on .co.uk, the issue may have been caused by the recent problems the domain experienced. I will ask the admins to decide whether the case should be reported to the webmaster.

Before we report the matter to the webmaster, try changing your email in the admin panel and your profile. See if the problem persists with the new email.
