Still no update despite locking a similar thread on this subject Shocked they are no doubt aware but why no update Question

it is now over 1 month since our site has had this problem

steve

I don't know why the webmaster Stefano has not given an update. I left a message for him in the private staff forum on Sept. 21 and Sept 29, giving the link to this thread. I made another reminder to him just now.

Stefano works for the owner Raulken, and Stefano told me that Stefano does work for Raulken besides ForumUp. Even if Raulken is having Stefano spend all day on another project, I do not know why Stefano doesn't make some kind of reply.

Thanks for you reply

but 9 days and still the problem exists, any chance this could be fixed soon

cheers

steve

Your guess is as good as mine. It is frustrating that the webmaster has not replied. But such is the situation.

Please put the link to your forum in your signature, then it will always show in all new posts you make.

This does not bode well for Forumup.

I can see the writing on the wall... How do I go about organising a complete backup of my forum?

Oh... and my search function has not worked for the last month either. I left it till now, thinking you guys would surely get round to fixing it promptly (after the whole DDOS debacle and "co.uk" sites...)

could the problem with the search bar be some conflicting html coding Question
on my forum if anyone does a search you get the following message
No topics or posts met your search criteria

that is because you must be registerd to see any posts ,once your looged in and do a search it takes you to what your looking for

but by the same token when the uk sites where down the other month i started a backsite on the .org domain

now i just checked that site and if your logged in and search no problem
but if your not logged in you get this message

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /var/www/html/forumup.org/overture_functions.php:284) in /var/www/html/forumup.org/includes/page_header.php on line 32

now the only differnce between my 2 forums is my main one i pay to remove ads and the back up i dont

hope this helps

I don't know why that problem with the search function has not been fixed. Still no reply from the webmaster.

Dear users we apologize for the delay. I have noticed these matters to Raulken, the only one who can help us to this point.
