That is correct. The forum staff cannot say anything else since the webmaster has not replied. A message was left for him in the private staff forum, and an email was sent to him as well as to Raulken, the owner. Hopefully Stefano, the webmaster, will reply soon. _________________ Margaret /gg'ssimon~ForumUp World-Wide Administrator

Raulken, the owner, has replied to staff saying that he is working on the problem, and that the .vn, .dk and .com.au forums will be moved to a new server. He did not say when the forums will be moved. _________________ Margaret /gg'ssimon~ForumUp World-Wide Administrator

Lately I have been experiencing something similar.
I can access my forum, browse through topic, post a message and then all of a sudden the server is not available.
I get the message that the connection to the server was re-initialised.
When this happens I immediately go to the Dutch support forum and every time I get the same message there.
I assume both forums are on the same server.
After trying the Dutch support forum I come to this one and have immediate access.
Other sites open without delay, so it surely looks like a server problem.
Makes no difference what browser I use.
I hope it's okay to post this here. If not, my apologies. If needed I will make a new topic for it. _________________

I don't mean to be rude, but if this has been going on for so long, why has nothing been done about it sooner? So many forums are being affected.
The very title of this board is 'Urgent Forum Problems', so I would have thought that whoever is in charge of fixing this would have made it a priority to do so as quickly as possible.
I don't know all of the details though, and I know nothing about the technicalities of correcting such an issue, so perhaps it's not my place to comment. |

The situation with the .nl forums is not related to that of the .com.au, .vn and .dk forums.
The .com.au, .vn and .dk forums are the only forums on one particular server- the one that has been having ongoing problems.
The .nl fourms are all on a different server.
The .com forums are on yet another server.
ForumUp has around 6 or so servers. _________________ Margaret /gg'ssimon~ForumUp World-Wide Administrator

Others wonder about things the way you have. Raulken, the owner, is the one in charge of making server decisions. Raulken made Stefano the webmaster to handle problems with ForumUp, but things such as moving ForumUp domains to a new server is up to Raulken. In the end, what happens with ForumUp is up to Raulken. Raulken is also working on another project, not related to ForumUp. _________________ Margaret /gg'ssimon~ForumUp World-Wide Administrator
