Hey

I am new at this but here goes.

I want to have a forum (folder) that the members can post in but not read. Is this posible? if i set the read to MOD and post to REG in permission they can't post... It says only Mods can read topics in this forum.

I need this for a complaint part so that people can complain on each other if there is a problem, but ofcause i don't want everyone on the forum to see who is complaining on what...

My forum is:

Hi Amfibethor.

It is not possible to have a forum where the members can post, but not read. Read blocks Post, in this case, as you have already figured out.

What you can do with complaints and such, that you don't want others to read, is to tell the members to complain in PMs, to you or to a Moderator. And then you can have a special forum for the Moderators (a hidden forum, if you want), where you can post the PMs as quotes. Then you and all the Moderators can read the complaints, while the members can't.

And I guess that is what you wanted...

Too bad it's not possible, b/c I do like that idea! Wink I just do complaints via PMs myself.
