I know that on a phpBB forum not hosted by forumup has a warning system and if you get 4 warnings then you get banned for X amount of days. Is it possible to do that here?

That function is not available on ForumUp, Mattraks. It's a Mod for phpBB2, and we stay away from Mods, as they tend to have bugs, that cause problems, extra downtime, etc.

Oops, I should have added that you can ban members manually, by inactivating their account in their profile for a period of time.

Because here, you have to go into the admin index and click on ban controll and then type in their username but that would get annoying. Is there a way to easily do this?

Also, is there a way a Moderator can do it?

Ahem, double posting are we... Laughing

I'll throw out your other topic and move this one to the correct forum... Wink

No, there is no way a Moderator can do it.

You can however create Private forums and Usergroups for them, and appoint others as Moderators for the usergroups. Then the Usergroup Moderators can exclude members from the groups if they don't behave...

WTF? I only posted it in two different forums. You posted messages 3 times in a row.

I wasn't complaining about what you did, Mattraks. On the contrary, I understand that you realized you had posted in the wrong forum, and corrected it, by posting again...

But Meanwhile I started to reply in this thread, and thought it would be for the better to have all the replies in one thread...

Sorry about the confusion... Laughing
