Hi everyone, and in particular, the amatuer Ichthyologists amongst you.
A young lass, Bettina, and myself, have recently spent some time setting up a Tropical Fish Forum. And like any new Forum, we'd especially welcome new members with which to share our news, and our knowledge.
We're still playing with the 'look' of the Forum. Heaps of good fish pics are in there. And I promise, great things are still to come!
Check us out...

Here are my young Corydoras aeneus Catfish, just three weeks old! (shown here just larger than actual size) They originate from South America.

And these little buggers are Ancistrus Temmincki Catfish, also known as 'Bristlenose'. There are 35 of them at 4.5 months old. This species also from South America.

It's the subSilver Style, set to the Acid Style color scheme, with a few of our own graphics thrown in for good measure.
There's still a few graphics yet to finish, and place. _________________ Please post your Forum URL with each query.

I mainly use PhotoShop, with a few Filter add-ons, like Kai's Power Tools, Eye Candy, Type Magic, and Adobe Actions.
It's not really a difficult package to use, it's just immediately daunting, because there's just so many directions you can go with it. But 'Layering' is really worth it.
Both my Kids are resonally adept with it, at ages 11 and 13. The youngest is working out animation frames with PhotoShop at the moment, to port into some GIF animator, she downloaded from the Internet. _________________ Please post your Forum URL with each query.

As an AquaticBabble frequent visitor, I can tell you Kana runs a great forum. It doesn't just look good - it's a very friendly, welcoming place.
He's inspired me to start a tropical fish forum, too...but I don't aspire to have it look as good as his. I'd have no clue how to go that far.
I'll post my URL when it's more presentable. In the meantime even if you don't care about tropical fish - Kana's site is worth a look. It's awesome looking. |

G'day Gary. You had me thinking, 'Who the cripes is Melonhead?'
Sure I can't inspire you to bring a few more Members over instead?

Here's a slightly 'doctored' image of one of my tanks, from a discussion about tank decoration, on Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! | .

I haven't plugged the site I manage, for a while...
Here's 'Giblet', species Glyptoperichthys gibbiceps, from South America. He's the latest addition to my tank. I swapped him for 10 of my young Bristlenose, as shown way up above.
