How to make colored text in the description boxes

Go to:

Administration Panel / Forum Admin / Management.

In the Forum Administration table on the right go to the Forum in which you want to control the colours of the description text. Click on 'Edit' for that Forum.

A table will appear that looks like this:

In the Field that is labelled "Description" enter the following:

Code:
<font color=#FF0000>Tell the story</font>

( where it says "Tell the story" substitute what you want the coloured writing to say in your index forum description )

( where you see #FF0000 above, substitute coding for the colour you want the text to be )

There are charts of colours you can work from.

Some links that carry lists:

When satisfied, click Update.

If this doesn't work try removing the # from the code. Sometimes this is advised but not always. Otherwise make sure you copy the HTML tags exactly as shown, spaces and all.

Also remember that the '0's are Numerals, not Letters. Wink

The same treatment can apply to the Title of the forum if you want to colour that.
